Girls Race
Host Springfield won the meet 15-50. Springfield's Ella Walsh won the girls race with a time of 20:09. Upper Moreland's Melody McDonough finished 3rd in the race despite feeling "off". "Mel said her legs felt heavy during warm-ups and for her to feel like that and still run close to a PR is a positive."

Boys Race
Upper Moreland earned the first team victory of the year over host Springfield 21-34. Springfield's Matthew Haugh won the race by almost a minute but the Golden Bears took the next 4 spots. Christian Feil, Nick Ley, Brady Saunders and John Cox finished second through fourth. Chase Sutrynowicz finished out the scoring for Upper Moreland and secured the victory. "Their top runner went out and took control of the race from the start. Christian, Nick and Chicken (Brady) did a great job of pushing each other. John made a strong move on the second mile to put some distance between him and the next Springfield guy and Chase had a break through race and should be up pushing John the rest of the season. Loovve and Jack looked good as well."
