After a very successful night last night at CRS, the Bensalem Owls continued their competitive play against CRN today at home. Bensalem actually got on the board 21 seconds into the game with a Giuliana Pasquerella shot that was tipped in by junior Haley Groves. That score held until 6:16 into the second quarter when CRN tied it up. That took us to halftime tied up at one. The score remained tie until 30 seconds left in the third quarter when Kaitlyn McCoy scored off of a Brynn Bogie assist. CRN was able to get 2 more in the fourth, one with just 13 seconds remaining in the game.
Take away those two late period goals, and I know we can't, but we played a tight, competitive 55 minutes of hockey today. We now have to take that 55 minutes and turn it into a complete game.
I've been so impressed with my squad the past two games; I couldn't be prouder. I don't want to name the entire team here but has been a total team effort from start to finish lately. As we rise, we rise up together.
