CB East senior, Riley Donnelly had a fantastic game, contributing five goals during the game, two in the first half and three in the second. Phia Mannino added a goal, and Emma Donnelly added one goal and an assist. Also assisting on goals were Mackenzie Boyle, Cailey Lever, Whitney Dietz and Allison Gallant.
Todays game was one we knew if we didn’t win, our season was finished. The pressure of knowing this made our team play extremely focused and with more energy. The composure of the team was also a factor. The defensive leadership shown by Isobel Mannino, Tara Harper and Whitney Dietz definitely proved to be a factor in keeping the ball out of the cage. Emily Bullard also scrambled a few times to make seven saves during the game. Perkiomen Valley’s Gabby Martina, Paige Calfapeitra and Katie Wuerstle were very strong throughout the game.
