North Penn is well coached and were able to move the ball strong and quick around us at times. We struggled a bit during the first half where North Penn score 3 of their goals. We came back after halftime a bit more settled and were able to keep them from scoring in the third quarter. I am proud of my team for not backing down or giving up.

Notes: Great team effort on the road tonight for the Knights first shutout. Possession passing, urgency to goal, and timely interceptions were the key to victory tonight. Midfielder Caleigh Sperling led the attack with two goals and Grace McGeehan’s speed to goal was effective on quick counterattacks. The midfield play of Sperling, Laura Albert, Maddie Brown, and Ashleigh Barwis was key in holding off the Titans in transition and advancing the ball to the forwards. Center back Melissa Sessler was solid in the defensive effort.
