Central Bucks South Comments

Perserverance sums it up today. We had multiple shots during the game and finally was able to tie the score up with 9:52 left in the 4th quarter. Kaeli Vandersluis shot a reverse chip from the left side of the goal which got tipped by Tessa Walls and then finally tapped in by Erin Kelly. Pennridge is a very strong team that used a different formation that was throwing us off especially in our defensive circle. Solid defense by Sam Thomas, Ella Haag, and Peyton Ostroff.
Going into OT the girls had the momentum to be able to get on the score board at 4:43 left on a Kaeli Vandersluis cross to Tessa Walls with a reverse tap in for winning goal.

Pennridge- Penalty corners 6, Shots on goal 5, goalkeeper saves by Molly Bross 5

Pennridge scored their goal in the 2nd quarter at 9:42 mins on a penalty corner (CBS down a player in the cage)

Pennridge Comments

Goal- Lindsey Campione (assist Hannah Capo)- 2Q

South did a good job disrupting our passing and beating us to the ball.

In the 2nd half we had chances with consistent pressure under our offensive 25 but struggled to find goal #2. South took advantage and was able to capitalize in the 4th.

Congrats to South on a hard fought game.
