Notes: In another high scoring division match-up the Knights fell short again losing 6-4. “I am really proud of the effort and energy we brought to the field tonight against a tough CB West. We played as a team, hustled to every 50/50 ball, and had a never give up attitude on the field. The first time we played them it was a 8-6 loss so we knew it would be another high scoring game. At the end of the first quarter it was 3-2 so it was proving to be a back and forth of exchanging goals. We needed to play a bit cleaner defense and protect the entry to the circle better and not give them so much shooting space because they are fast and dynamic on the attack. In addition we needed to get more rebounds and finish in the circle. The Barwis sisters (Ashleigh and Kylie) had a big night for us up the right side of the field and captains Grace McGeehan and Melissa Sessler were leaders on the field making top plays for the Knights.”

This evenings match up showcased both programs speed, skill and physicality. Similar to our 1st meeting (8-6 win); we are able to maintain our poise, possess the ball, and continue to attack and counterattack throughout the match.
Credit to Coach Shannon and her staff - when you play NP - you must have a high level of focus and mental toughness - you know that they will compete until the final whistle.
This is a hard week back in league play, we (Coach Lori and I) felt that each of our lines were able to make plays that continue to contribute to our teams success.
