I like the attitude of my team when we play under the lights. The Pink Out game is always a really fun time for the girls. We had to switch our line up multiple times due to filling in injury gaps and we generated a lot of opportunity in the circle. Our juniors were able to find the back of the cage and that’s what we needed most this game. Kelly Longmore scored right out of the gate and Maria Freeman came in strong during the fourth quarter. Our younger girls got to see some more playing time and gained experience tonight for future years to play. It broke a horrible losing streak we had and we look forward heading back into league play.

Bensalem Comments

I am so proud of this team. We just played our most complete game that we've played all year. To think that we lost to CRS 8-0 on our own grass field in the first game of this season, and to then come into their turf and play the way we did amazed me. The entire team played well in all aspects of this game. For the first time this season, we were connecting on passes from back in the defense, through the midfield and even up to our forwards. The work that these girls put in tonight was just special.
