Central Bucks West Comments
CB West finished off a tough week with a loss at Episcopal Academy on Friday. EA started the game off quickly with a score and kept the pressure on throughout. With less than 15 minutes left in the first half CB West was staring at a 4-0 deficit. Cadera Smith scored on an individual effort in the circle to make it 4-1. The score stood going into the second half.

EA got the 2nd half started much like the first scoring within the first minute to make it 5-1. The effort from West however was much improved this half as they were able to put continuous pressure on EA. Bryn Boylan scored on a penalty corner (assist Ryan Murray) to make it 5-2. That was as close as West would get for the remainder of the game. EA tacked on two more goals winning by a final score of 7-2.

While the outcome was not what West wanted the improved effort the second half was gutsy! Casey Reichwein and Kacie Murray played an incredible second half for West. Reichwein was stepping up to the ball and sending great passes through the midfield. Murray played an incredibly strong right mid working to slow down the EA offense and helping to control play in the midfield. West plays a night game Monday at home vs Pennridge.
