Notes/Quote - It was a well played game by both teams. Haverford definitely created more scoring opportunities, especially in the first half, but I thought our defense played well and didn't give up any goals. It was the first time in a long time that we had been tested defensively and I was pleased that we hung tough. We came out stronger in the second half and scored about 5 minutes in. The game was fairly evenly played but then Haverford picked up the pace as the game went on and scored with 8 minutes left. They also had more opportunities in OT and scored on a circle play about 5 minutes into OT. I felt like we were outworked as the game went on. Also, we did not have the intangibles that I would like to see in a close game.
