Lower Moreland Comments
Lower Moreland lost a tough one to Abington today 5-2. The Lady Lions came out strong but fell flat in the second quarter allowing 4 goals to be scored. We regrouped at halftime and were able to pick ourselves up and be proud of our second half of the game. The Lions held the Ghosts scoreless in the second half and netted two goals. Senior Reagan Hopkins notched her 11th goal of the season and freshman Maddie Broderick scored the first goal of her high school career off a pass from Jess Pachman. Goalie Meg Halpern had 16 saves on the day. If we could just stop digging holes for ourselves and get consistent in our play we will have a successful rest of the season. The Lions will play at Wissahickon on Thursday.
