It was a beautiful night for field hockey and our "Stick It to Cancer" game. Lower Moreland beat Archbishop Wood 1-0 under the lights. This was a special night for us as we honored Senior Bri Rocha’s mom who recently lost her courageous battle against cancer and former longtime LMFH coach Carol Lusignea who passed away last November also from cancer. It’s been a tough week for our LM field hockey family so rallying around our teammate and coming away with a win was so nice. What made it even more special was how many students, friends, and family came to support the cause. Junior Skylar Lowry scored the only goal off a pass from Jess Pachman. Lowry also had a defensive save on the Vikings' only shot to keep Wood scoreless. All around it was a great team win. Lower Moreland will play Upper Dublin tomorrow.
