Lower Moreland defeated Jenkintown 8-0 in their season opener. Overall this was an entire team effort with 22 players getting playing time. “We lost 8 starters from last season so we have many less experienced players who have been working hard getting comfortable with our style of play and adjusting to some changes in positions. Senior captain midfielder Jess Pachman led the Lady Lions with 2 goals and 2 assists. Senior Reagan Hopkins and junior Skylar Lowry also netted 2 goals each. Senior captain Bri Rocha and freshman Mollie Martin also notched a goal each. Junior Ashley Avington contributed with 3 assists. Our focus over the past 3 years has been to play as a team and we accomplished that today. They will face Upper Moreland next Wednesday in their first Suburban One league game.
