Lower Moreland and Springfield always play each other tough and today was no exception. Springfield came out on top 2-0. We moved the ball well as a team today but just could not get our offense generated. Senior Megan Halpern had a stellar game in goal with 9 saves including a penalty stroke. Springfield had 16 corners but the defense of Mia Peng, Jess Pachman, Alexis MacPhee, Mady Rossiter, and Meg Halpern held Springfield to just one goal off the corner. Lower Moreland will wrap up the first half of their division schedule on Thursday when they take on William Tennant.
