4th - Ava Arbakov, 4:33

Tonight was a special night. It was our first night home game on our new turf and senior night.

We started off the game playing too much defense and not being able to get in our grove and play our game. We came out of half time with a spark— we were able to control the ball and generate offense. Again, defense played well lead by Morgan Shaltens. Alayna Roscoe and Maddy Shtino really stepped up in the second half helping to generate offense out of the back, and goalie Megan Gonzales played well. Ava Arbakov really stepped up in the second half, dominating in the center and worked hard off of a corner to keep the play alive and score from the top. Kasey Rieger was a threat offensively, generating many scoring opportunities for us. This was a good team win—we were able to regroup and come out strong and play together. Even though we have more than half the season left, the coaches and players would like to honor and thank the seniors for the past 4 years and their leadership so far this season. The seniors are captains, Morgan Shaltens, Cait Colyar, Mia Sermarini, and Molly Courtney, Keira Loftus, Hannah Stanton and Liv Lobecker.

Neshaminy had a bunch of corners in a row in the 4th quarter. Our defense battled to keep them out but with 4:33 minutes left in the game Ava Arbaka sent a rocket drive into the corner of the cage. Great defensive play by CB South's Peyton Ostroff, Kelly Hemsley, Sam Thomas, Kailtlin Sullivan, Ella Haag, Tessa Walls and goalkeeper Emma Kraft. It was a very exciting game as it was Neshaminy's Senior Night.
