The score was 1-0 with 4 minutes left in the 3rd quarter. We started playing with them and creating scoring opportunities. Forward, Ava Bailey worked hard the whole game and Maggie Morrow was also amazing when we got the ball on the attack, but we could not find the goal.
Then New hope scored 4 goals in 4 minutes to end the 3rd quarter which really brought us down. We were missing a few starters and I was subbing to try to figure out a good lineup, but it backfired and with everyone in different positions things just broke down. Additionally, New Hope scored 4 goals off corners and we were missing 3 out of 5 of our corner defenders.
Izzy Duncan and Addie Gans played well at back to continually stop New Hope’s relentless attack.
Upper Moreland’s goalies got a lot of action and put in stellar performances! Ash Conrad made 10 saves and Tierney Hogan had 13 saves.
