Notes: The Knights scored in the first minute and in the final two minutes of the first quarter with two goals from Senior Midfielder Caleigh Sperling. It was a key start for the Knights as Pennridge answered back quickly after the first goal and held the corner advantage in the first quarter. "I was really proud of how our defense (Goalie Kiley Moister, Backs - Melissa Sessler, Maddie Hanrahan and Rhyan Poole) stepped up in the first quarter when Pennridge was putting a lot of pressure on us and earning penalty corners. Even though we got out to a quick lead there was a lot of play in our defensive end at the start of our game and I was happy to see our kids play gritty in the circle and hold the Rams off. The second quarter is when our speed, quick transitions, and possession passing really came alive and then continued into the second half. Even though we didn't put one on the scoreboard in the second quarter it really set the scene for a strong second half. Midfielders Caleigh Sperling and Laura Albert shut down the middle well tonight and fed our forwards some great passes. It was a great team effort by all lines and the cohesiveness on the field was excellent tonight."
