Quakertown Comments

I am extremely proud of how hard our girls fought the entire 60 minutes and executed the game plan. Going into our last game of the season, knowing we did not make post season, we wanted to come out and play to the best of our ability. We succeeded in many ways with every single player making a significant contribution. Our defense held strong due to the efforts of our goalies, Senior Morgan Craighead and Amanda Tuley; our defense led by Seniors Sydney Fondl and Melanie Olivieri and supported by Maddie Haley and Mackenzie Hadfield prevented many scoring threats by PW and only gave up 6 corners. Our Midfielders, led by Seniors Anna Thompson and Julia Ely took control of the play and successfully transitioned the ball into the attack. Our forwards Brianna Nadal, Becca Musselman, Adriana Alexander and Laura MacIntyre were relentless in pressing and forcing turnovers. And lastly, our freshmen, Makenzie Adamson and Halle Frederick, held their own and forced many turn overs to Quakertown's advantage. PW is a talented team with many skilled players. We wish them the best of luck in the post season.
