Quakertown Comments
Today’s game was another hard battle between us and PW, resulting in overtime. Quakertown scored in the first quarter with 4:47 left on the clock, where Leah Schwalm was able to capitalize. Plymouth Whitemarsh answered back during the third quarter with 6:21 left on the clock, with a goal from Ava Mathias. The game hung at 1-1 leading into overtime. I have to hand it to my defense today, Ember Retter and Megan Roth, along with Sunny Draper, as they all stood strong during overtime to keep corners out, following the ball and stopping shots. There was 35 seconds left on the clock for overtime when a corner was called. Katelyn Landis inserted the ball to Sunny Draper with Sunny taking the shot. The goalie stopped the shot and Katelyn Landis was right there. Katelyn Landis took the rebounded shot ending the game with a 2-1 score.

Plymouth Whitemarsh Comments
PW played another tightly contested game. Quakertown scored first with 4:47 left in the 1st quarter and the game would stay that way until the 3rd quarter when Ava Matthias would score off of a pass from Ella Catania during a broken corner play. The 4th quarter saw PW put good pressure on the Quakertown defense, but the game would go to overtime. Despite multiple scoring opportunities, Quakertown would score the game winner with time winding down in overtime.
