This was a game to see as it was a hard faught battle by both teams. We ended up going into overtime and the score stood 1-1 which was the score from the first quarter and on. Our goal came from a strong execution of a corner where Sunny Draper took the shot and Paige Longacre redirected the ball to see the back of the cage. Wissahickon answered right back with a goal and it stayed locked down by both teams with a score 1-1, even through overtime. Every player on the field gave it there all tonight especially our goalkeeper, Anna Haberle, who had multiple great saves even through strongly executed defensive corners sending hard shots at her. This was an extremely well played game of hockey despite the dreary weather.
