Notes: The Knights were excited to see Souderton again tonight because the first match was called a game (1-1 tie) after only playing a half due to lightning/storms. Souderton opened up the scoring two minutes into the game but NP answered back in two minutes on a penalty corner (Laura Albert to Grace McGeehan). "That was key to answer back quickly and that was the second time that happened to our squad this week - a very early goal, but a quick counter attack." After a 1-1 tie coming out of the first quarter, the Knights had a big second quarter with two goals from junior forward Erika Pickford. Souderton again answered back at the start of the third quarter to put them within one, but senior captain, Grace McGeehan, did what she does best and was dynamic and fast to goal, putting two more on the board for NP. "Souderton is a team that never gives up and the fourth quarter was a lot of back and forth and heavy midfield play but our defense held steady and did a great job of keeping them off the scoreboard. We haven't won at Souderton on their field in a few seasons, so I was really excited for our team to get the win tonight. They were determined and brought a lot of energy and effort all over the field. Our team has great chemistry and they played really well as a team tonight."
