We opened our season against Upper Dublin and we took the W with a score of 4 to 0. I cannot stress this enough, but the connection between this team is all there! They understand me and they work very well together with reading each and backing each other up. Passes were there, communication was there and their movement as one full unit was very apparent.

Our goalie had many great saves and that combined with our team’s pressure on Upper Dublin’s goalie contributed to our success.

Our freshman forward, Paige Longacre put 2 goals on the board in the 2nd quarter, 1 with 13:58 left in the quarter and 1 with 8:56 left in the quarter. Next up was a junior, Katelyn Landis, who took a solid, hard shot in the 3rd quarter with 12:10 left on the clock. The last goal was from Sunny Draper, a freshman, during the 3rd quarter with 4:42 left on the clock. It was reverse chip to the top left corner. This was a very well played game with a lot of hard work poured into it.
