Central Bucks East hosted Avon Grove Saturday afternoon in its first home game of the season. Avon Grove scored first and held the lead from start to finish, and went on to spoil the Patriot's home open by a score of 8-3.
East could muster only 3 goals on the afternoon, Ryan Brown had 2 and Alec Bracken had 1. Brant Billingsly and Ryan Bullota each chipped in with 1 assist apiece. Jake Kueny had 4 ground balls, Bryan McIntosh had 2, while Liam Rosenthal, Colin Stein, and Michael Ott were each credited with one ground ball each.
Defensively, Liam Rosenthal had 9 saves in goal, Kueny caused 1 turnover.
