GAME WRAP UP
The Patriots of Central Bucks East defeated West Chester Rustin by a score of 9-0 on Saturday afternoon. Due to a very patient and deliberate approach on offense, a suffocating defense, and a swarming team approach to ground balls, the Patriots were able to secure their second shutout of this young season.

Michael Ott opened the scoring 5 minutes into the game and also beat the clock with one second remaining in the first quarter to give the Patriots a 2-0 lead. Junior Ryan Stout scored the third goal of the game early in the second quarter and the Patriots never looked back. They would score three more times in the quarter to take a commanding 6-0 lead at the half, on their way to the shutout. Ott led all scorers with four goals, Stout had two goals and one assist, Greg Scholz and Jacob Manion each had one goal and one assist, Collin Stein had one assist, and Jake Ventresca joined them in the scoring column with one goal.

Liam Rosenthal and RJ Miller combined to make 3 saves on the day.

East won 7 of 11 faceoffs, including 6 of 9 by Ott.

Fourteen different Patriots recorded ground balls on the day including four by Ott and four by Freshman Evan Bulotta.

The Patriots will travel to Owen J Roberts on Tuesday, April 10th for their first away game of the season.
