Central Bucks East Men’s Varsity Lacrosse lost to Hatboro Horsham at CB East by a score of 11 – 10. East moves to 12-3 (8-2 in SOL) and Hatboro 11-3 (10-0 in SOL). East jumped out to a 2 – 0 lead but gave up 2 goals in the last 10 seconds of the first quarter and ended the first in a tie. Hatboro scored the next four goals unanswered (two goals were on the Extra Man Up Opportunities). East added 2 more goals with less than 3 minutes in the half and went into half time trailing 7 – 5. In the 3rd Each team added a pair of goals. In the 4th East put up 2 goals to tie it at 9 all (One goal on an 2 man advantage EMO). The Hatters scored at 5:09 and 3:04 to take an 11 – 9 lead. East put one more on the score board at 1:58 and to get within 1. East took the face off and got a shot on goal but Marc Poust made the save. The Hatters cleared the ball and tried to run out the clock but Matt Milici caused a turnover and East recovered the ground ball. East called their final time out with 1:07 remaining and set up a shot but Poust made another save and the Hatters were able to kill the clock for the 11 – 10 victory.
