Council Rock South opened the 1st quarter with 4 unanswered goals. But the real story was in net, Billy Houser made three highlight saves early. South scored again to open the 2nd quarter stretched it to 5-0. North started to heat up and the teams' traded goals and the first ended with South leading 7-2. Senior Captain Wes Waninger played his best game of the season facing off and playing great middie D. Wes ended the game with 1 assist. The long pole defense for South turned in a strong performance with Senior Captain Thomas Gallagher with 3 groundballs, Josh Geiger 4 groundballs and 1 goal and Andrew Mannherz with 2 ground balls. On offense, the CR South attack came to play. Joey Smith had 5 goals and 1 assist, TJ Shores had 4 goals and 1 assist. and MJ Fenney had a balanced game with 2 goals and 2 assists. Also scoring goals were Sophomores Jack Schink & Patrick Malone and Junior Owen Dillon. Owen Dillon also tied with Josh Geiger for a game high 4 ground balls.
