Central Bucks East traveled to Kenett High School to open the season Friday afternoon and came away with a convincing 12-4 victory.The Patriot's offense was led by Ryan Bullota who scored 3 goals and had 2 assists. Greg Scholz also had a hat trick scoring 3 goals. Ryan Schmidt had a strong offensive performance with 2 goals and 2 assists. Alec Bracken, Ryan Brown, Colin Stein, and Jake Kueny each chipped in 1 goal apiece to round out the scoring.

Colin Stein won 10 of 18 face offs for the Patriots. Sophomore Liam Rosenthal was credited with 5 saves in goal.

Joe Thiroway led the Patriots defense with 3 caused turnovers and 4 ground balls.Bryan McIntosh and John Galow each had 3 ground balls. Ryan Brown and Jake Kueny had 2 ground balls, while Drew Bethke, Brant Billingsly,and Ryan Bullota were each credited with 1 ground ball.

East travels to Hatboro-Horsham on Monday evening where they will take on the Hatters in a 7pm start.
