The NHS Lions outlasted the ArchBishop Wood Vikings 9/7 in a hard fought battle. The Lions were led by Mitchell Lontchar with a hat trick and 1 assist. Freshman Parker Taylor had 2 goals and 2 assists. Captain Lucas Solis had one goal and 3 assists, while Colin Foster, Captain Chris Weisbrot and Trevor Donohoe each had a Goal. Sophomore Quinn Bridge had an assist. Freshman Goalie Cole Catalano was outstanding with 11 saves. The Defense was anchored by Ben Klayman and Oliver Phillips. Colin Foster and Chris Weisbrot were dominant at the face off with 15 wins at the X. The Lions once again played with a lean roster dressing only 15 players. Senior Brandon Crounce, whose normal position is a middle, played close defense today and did an outstanding job."
