GAME WRAP UP

The Patriots of Central Bucks East traveled west to play the Wildcats of Owen J Roberts Tuesday evening under the lights. The game started with the Wildcats and Patriots scoring one goal each in the first quarter, then also putting one on the board in the second quarter for a 2-2 deadlock at halftime. The Patriots came out and dominated the second half by scoring 6 goals in the third quarter, and 4 in the fourth en route to a 12-2 victory over the hard-working Wildcats.

Michael Ott and Ryan Stout led the Patriots in the scoring column as each had 3 goals in the contest. Stout had 2 in the first half and 1 goal in the second, and Ott scored all three of his goals in the second half. Jacob Manion had a strong game with 2 goals within 45 seconds of one another during the 3rd quarter. East had single goals from Greg Scholz, Collin Stein, Jake Ventresca, and LSM John Galow. Scholz, Stout, Stein, and Galow also chipped in with one assist each.

On the defensive end, East communicated effectively as a unit to come up with another gritty performance and locked down the Wlidcats in the second half. Jake Kueny, Tyler Tracy, Drew Bethke, John Galow and Nick Lyons provided the protection needed for Liam Rosenthal, who also had another stellar outing by stopping 6 shots on the day. Collin Stein proved unstoppable in the transition game as the Patriots were able to go 10 of 12 on clears for the day.

Michael Ott controlled face-offs once again by winning all 15 of his opportunities. Long pole, Jake Kueny also added a face off win.

The East Patriots will shift their attention to Friday where they will host Pine Richland at 3:30pm.
