It was a great game tonight and it ultimately came down to turnovers. We had 4 turnovers in the 2nd half and we did not execute on the opportunities we had caused on the defensive end. Both teams played well tonight and I am very proud of my girls.

Comments: Well fought. South did a great job on the draws, rebounds and converting on our mistakes in the first half. But I am proud that we persevered and when it counted, the defense held strong and we came up with the ball. Lucy Varner and Maddie Maio did an excellent job in the final minutes defensively. And Rachel Shaw came up with some crucial ground balls. Moreover, Casey came up with some big draws in the end. Bryn was a work horse today with 4 draws and 5 ground balls. Finley and Dani were big offensive threats and Maddie Maio was a presence on both ends tonight. Team win, not the best decisions at times and defense took a while to find it's rhythm, but they proved they can come back and make adjustments.
