Maio scored the equalizer from Casey with 1:33 left. PW did get a last shot but Lauren saved it (10 seconds left).

Comments: In a back and forth game, I think both teams showed a lot of heart. PW did a nice job of sending and seeing cutters all game. We did a better job of shutting down Kolkka in the second half (had 3 in the first, only 1 goal in the second), but we did not implement enough pressure on Dresnin and we let her see too many looks. We had some issues with turnovers especially in the beginning, but once the girls started possessing and moving off ball, they had some great looks. In overtime, Casey Reichwein got the draw control and had some opportunities but we simply couldn't finish. Bryn had another stellar performance all over the field with 8 ground balls, 3 caused turnovers and 6 draw controls in addition to her attacking stats. Lauren Devlin came up huge this evening with 8 saves, a huge one which helped take us to overtime. I know our team is disappointed, but we are still young and it's important that we keep our heads up, learn from this game and use it to help us in playoffs.
