It was a good game. North Penn scored the 1st goal after the play went back and forth between two teams. Then PW scored the next three goals to end the half. PW had some good looks at the goal but North Penn goalie Michelle Dyck made the saves. North Penn came out the second half fighting to stay in the game. PW had opportunities but North Penn capitalized on their shots taking the lead with 15;44 remaining. There was a sliglht delay in the second half with the lights going out with 14:40 left on the clock right after PW tied the score. Eventually the game was restarted. PW capitalized with great defense and possession of the ball scoring the next 2 goals.
North Penn got one goal with 2:57 remaining after PW had a couple shots saved by Michelle Dyck .
PW’s defense held North Penn after a good fight off the draw that NP came up with. PW gained possession and held on for the win.

North penn took a quick lead with a goal by Chloe Novak at 24:21. But that would be our only goal of the first half. PW's defense was tough to get through. After the half, We actually put in the go ahead goal at 15:44 to lead briefly 4-3. But was quickly answered by Victoria Betterly at 14:58. Then PW put in 2 more goals (Diamond, and Dresnin) the latter with 4:25 left in the half. North Penn won the draw and got ourselves a free position shot that Jenn DeLongis put in at 2:57. Unfortunately, we couldn't get the ball back one last time to even up the game. It was a hard fought game by both teams.
I was very proud of the effort my girls gave tonight! They fought very hard tonight on both ends of the field, but we unfortunately came up short. Michelle Dyck was outstanding in the goal with 12 saves.
