PW played a solid 3 quarters. We worked hard on defense and came up with some great stops. Katie Lukens, Kaylin Smyth and Keira Whelan led the way. They each had blocks and interceptions on Abington.
On the offensive end Maite Jayo took what Abington gave her with the 1v1 and she beat her defender to the goal. Bri Reynolds came up big all over the field. On the draw and in transition both in the defensive end of the field and on attack. Meghan Wendler can always score and she did that today.
The fourth quarter we learned alot, we had to work thru adversity. We played panicked instead of confident, and created our own turnovers that led to Abington scoring. In the end we came thru and hopefully they can take away the great 3 quarters they played and learn from the mistakes we made in the 4th.
