Extremely proud of the team's overall effort today. Alex McCabe came out from the start to set the tone, scoring 6 of the first 7 goals of the game. Our defense, lead by Chloe Acuna and Elle Stein did a great job of jumping the cutters around the 8m. Overall, defensively we had 11 caused turnovers and 11 won ground balls. We got a little sloppy on both sides of the ball in the 3rd quarter, so we have to get that cleaned up before our next game. But after the break, we settled down controlled the game to the final whistle.
