It was all about possession. Wissahickon jumped to a 6-3 halftime lead over CB West on Saturday, working on gaining control of the draw. CB West came out strong in the second half, had great defense and hard shots. Overall, Wissahickon was able to remain patient, passing the ball around on offense until they had the an opportune time to score. Carolyn Wilde had 4 goals, Emily Vervlied had a hat trick and 1 assist, Shannon Stagliano, Claire Tarzia, Marie Dickson and Lauren Irvine all had 1 goal. Irvine added 1 assist. Final score, 11-7.
