Really happy with the performance of Sophia Stehlik today. She used her lacrosse IQ to find soft spots in the CR South zone and was aggressive defensively. She was a force all day and the team fed off her energy.

We received our 4th yellow card and played a player down with about 5 minutes left in the 3rd quarter through the remainder of the game. CR South got 3 straight to end the 3rd to get the score to 12-6. In between periods, we talked as a team about being smart with the ball in the 4th quarter and closing the game out. We were able to maintain the ball for last 7 minutes of the game when we were a player down, which isn't an easy thing to do.

Tatum Rurhen came up with some big saves today, especially in the 3rd and 4th quarter. It is great to see her continuing to improve each time she steps on the field.
