Council Rock North Comments
At Neshaminy, North raised their league record to 3-0-1 (4-0-1 overall).
The match was stopped twice in the first half for thunder and lightning delay.
Junior Forward Will Kamp scored what would be the game winner on a
nice pass from Windsor Varady about midway thru the second half. The final
tally to ice the match came from James Reynolds on a Jack Randolph pass
with 5 minutes left. From there North cleared the bench after a frustrating day.
In the match North had the greater of the opportunities but Neshaminy's young
squad hung tough to keep it deadlocked for the first 60 minutes. Kudos to the
Redskins goalkeeper Dan Raivitch whom made at least 3 point blank saves
along with another dozen saves in total. At the opposite end of the pitch Alex
Robertson garnered the shutout for the Indians. Mike Pihno, Chris Pihno, Darek
Miller and Dom Czachor held down the defense for North's third shutout of the
season. Owen Beideman, Jack Sexton and Rezi Tebidze were stellar for Neshaminy
and kept the North offense in check for alot of the match. The man of the match was
North senior Ari Pollack whom logged 80 minutes of great plays on both ends of the
field. Neshaminy drops to 1-2-1 in both the league and overall. Monday North travels
to Pennsbury ( at Maccels Field) and Neshaminy travels to Bensalem.
