Tied NP 1-1 today. I think it was a deserved result for both teams. Both teams played tough but didn’t have a ton of opportunity to score and put the game away. It was a good defensive battle.

We scored first with 20 mins left in the second half. Parker Annan got by his defender and was shoved down in the box and given a penalty. He stepped up and put the penalty away. Everyone on the bench was calling for him to take it since he earned it. There was never a thought he’d miss.

NP got the better of us of the last 20 mins though. Their #10 was able to put a cross in from the endline that took an unfortunate deflection and went in for an own goal. We went to overtime and there weren’t many chances either way. Just another tough SOL colonial match
