Cr South beat Pennsbury 3-0. George Simon scored both 1st half goals off 2 Frankie Rafferty assists. George returned the favor for a Frankie goal with a couple of minutes left in the game. We played well tonight, especially against a spirited Pennsbury side on their senior night. We were organized and disciplined in the back with George Obrien and gk Evan Zawodniak keeping Pennsbury off the board. This was an important win with playoffs looming next week, so we needed to make sure we were in stride and taking our chances when they came. I told the kids at half that keeping the clean sheet was the priority, and we did just that.
