3-1 win today. Goals were all in second half. About 15 mins into the second half we got a quick throw in down in the offensive third. Chamar blanchard beat a man on the end line and played a ball across and Noah Jutzi beat the defender to the ball and slide it in the corner for the 1-0 lead. Our second goal came about 10 mins later. Chamar pressure a back pass to their goalie who played it out right to Keegan peet who controlled it beat a defender and went in on goal and slotted it in the far corner. Their goal came about 5 mins later when Freedy Kelman crossed a ball that found Beck Toledo on the far post who had a nice finish. UM scored late in the game to make the final score 3-1.

The boys played very well the first half reminded me a lot of the game last week with Tennett. We had a bunch of chances and we just couldn’t finish. Game should have been over at the half. UM’s goalie made a few good saves but we should have finished better. I told the boys at halftime that their playoff chances rely on this half. They needed to win it to have any chance and they responded. Proud of the boys today. We have been having trouble holding 1 goal leads and today we not only held it but increased it late in the game. The playoffs are still in reach. We still have some work to do though.
