CB East picked up a hard-fought road win following a first half goal from Sofia Mignon and Kiera Sleicher in the second half.

Goals:
-26:43remaining in first half - Free Kick taken from Grace Craig to the right side of the eighteen. Grace just played a very dangerous ball in and Sof Mignon saw it through and just tucked it away.
-14:10 remaining in second half - Madelyn Hill drove down the right flank and was able to take the end line. She served a great ball back across the six and Kiera finished it clinically. Kiera has been such a spark for us.

I am proud of our girls effort today. I thought we played a good game on the road, and worked really hard to move the ball, create a a handful of goal scoring opportunities, and keep the clean sheet. Credit to CR South for making us earn this game. We had good streaks of possession in the first half but their backline defended us well. Then in the second half, I thought in their kids came out with a spark that forced to adjust a bit and on the opposite end, CR South's keeper was excellent and kept this game tight.

All in all, we got a total team game, which is great to see at this point in the season. I thought Katie Bullard had a great day. Sad Ralph and Savannah Hayes gave us big minutes when the pressure was on and I thought Julia Santanello, Stella Genin, and Madelyn Hill played some of their best soccer today.
