Lady Hatters came out on top for the home opener and league play of the season with a 3-0 win over Wissahickon. First half was the best soccer I have seen this team play and we were able to capitalize on some dangerous plays. Emma Levin lead the offensive play with strong attacks towards the net. Which she ended up having all three assists to the goals. She is just so smart on the ball she is always delivering the perfect passes to the perfect spots. Sarah Boland was able to connect with Emma today on her give and gos and got two back to back goals in the first half. The second half was not as strong as the first but we still held Wissahickon to no goals. Leah Boland was able to connect off of one of Emmas through balls to find the back of the net. It was a total team effort and the defense had a good showing with Alyssa Tooley recording her first shutout of the season. Hatters will travel to Abington on Thursday at 3pm.
