Souderton came out in the first strong, controlling the midfield and possession from the start. Ten minutes into the half Senior Campbell Power found Sophomore Hannah Alderfer in space on the wing. Alderfer cut inside to create space for herself and unleashed a well-placed shot into the top corner of the far post to put Souderton up 1-0.

Power was able to create for her team once again with about ten minutes left in the half. A low driven cross found Senior Erin O'Keefe who met the cross well with a one time shot on frame. Lansdale's goalkeeper was able to make a quick reaction save, but the rebound came off her hands back to O'Keefe who did well to stay involved in the play and nodded home the finish to put Souderton up 2-0. Souderton showed no signs of letting up in the first half, buoyed by a strong performance from Power, who had five of the team's ten first-half shots and two assists.

After the half, Souderton looked a bit sluggish. Lansdale Catholic was able to create some chances from some sloppy possession from Souderton. After a few chances from Lansdale, Souderton was able to return to their strong first half form and regain control of the match. With six minutes left in the game, Sophomore Taylor Yoder found Power just outside the 18. Power struck the ball low and hard to the corner, and a slight deflection took it just out of the keeper's reach into the far corner.

Souderton continued to apply the pressure, and Yoder was able to tally another assist with a smart cross to Grace Kelly who was able to knock the ball in the net with her chest for a close-range finish.
