WISSAHICKON 1, Plymouth-Whitemarsh 4
Coming off 2 consecutive and very physical games Monday and Tuesday against powerhouses Quakertown and Pennridge, PW took the advantage proving a tough competitor against a tired Trojans Team. Congratulations to the Colonials on a well played game.
For the Trojans, now 3-9-0, a disappointing record so far this season, however not a disappointment as far as TEAM. With strong leadership from our three senior captains Anna Wilde, Victoria Selverian, and Alexis Smith this team is destined for greatness. Made up of only 14 Varsity players and 4 Swing players, this TEAM has kept their head high returning to the field with encouragement and a mantra to get better every game they play.
A friend wrote me earlier this season and shard this quote, “Young teams are tricky. They can look better than any team out there for spells and then they can look worse than you can ever imagine in the same game. Experience is about consistency” -Mario Lemieux
Team, it will come. Keep pushing.
