Quakertown Comments
Quakertown scored 2 goals in a 2 minute time frame to defeat Upper Moreland 2 to 1. The Panthers were trailing 1-0 after Kyra Favors scored for the Bears assited by Willow Taylor two minutes into the second half. Quakertown scored in the 63rd minute when Madison Kalinowski best three defenders and slotted the goal home. Less then 2 minutes later Rachel McMonagle scored of an Angela Calvanese assist to net the gam winner. Madison Peacher was good in goal for the Panthers and Maddie LaBonge was strong in the midfield.

Neither team dominated the first half. We were winning most of the 50/50 balls which gave us maybe a slight edge. Coming out of the second half we had some fire, getting a goal from Kyra Favors. We had some good opportunities today, that we just didn’t finish.
Mike’s girls played a stronger second half and were able to get two passed us. Kudos to Quakertown for coming back and getting the win.
