It was good to put the last two weeks behind us and get a win going back into divisional play. I'm proud of the way the girls were able to turn things around after the last few games. We were able to really use our bench today and shift everyone around to give some of the girls well deserved rest. We knew we had to mark Kaleigh Evans going into today and the back line of Theresa Ditri, Abi Meehan and Sami Roby did well to contain her. We had time in the middle of the field today and were able to transition well. Our goal in the first half was from a direct kick by Paige Marek and deflected in by Bailey Kasner. The second half goal was off a great cross from Lia Jalonowski with Maddie Hughes finishing it off on the back post.
