Lower Moreland defeated Cheltenham by a score of 5-3, earning their first win of the season for the young team. Cheltenham scored one run in the top of the first inning and another one in the top of the third. But with two outs in the bottom of the third, Izzy O'Brien reached base on a throwing error, and after three consecutive singles by Nikki Sahl, Emma DiJoseph, and Delaney Arthur, the Lions were on top, 3-2. Lower Moreland added another run in the fourth inning to extend their lead to 4-2. Cheltenham scored one run in the top of the sixth cutting the Lion's lead back to one, but Lower Moreland answered in the bottom of the inning with one run of their own on hits by Lily Seiner, Annika Swanson, and Nina Dudek.
