Pennridge Comments
The Lady Rams got an unearned run in the top of the second and made it hold up as they shut out the host North Penn Maidens 1-0. Paige DeCew got the win for Pennridge as she threw a 2 hit shut out, striking out 2 and giving up 4 walks.SeCew was tough and the Pennridge defense was just as tough as North Penn stranded 9 runners. the Rams got the only run they would need in the top of the 2nd when DeCew single to lead off the inning. Courtesy runner Lisa Bahmueller then advanced to second on a Morgan Labs sacrifice bunt. She advanced to third on Briana Gery's sacrifice bunt. Then Haley Taylor reached safely on an infield error and Bahmueller scored from third.
