UD scored their 1st run when Ashleigh Sharp led off the 6th inning with a double to center field, Kristin Ganderton advanced her to 3rd with a single, and then Rachel Hyman scored her on an RBI suicide squeeze bunt single. Wissahickon answered in the bottom of the 7th with 1 out when Intintolo hit an RBI triple to centerfield. The winning run scored in the 9th inning when Ana Cubit led off the inning with a walk. Pinch runner Gianna Tino advanced to send on a sacrifice bunt by Nichole Moran, and later scored on a 2-out RBI single by Brittany Startzel. Although Wissahickon had the bases loaded in the 5th inning, and runners in scoring position in 7th, 8th, and 9th innings, strong defense and good pitching helped UD hold onto the win, highlighted by a double play by right fielder Ana Cubit to end the game.
