The CB South Varsity Boys Tennis Team began their season with a 5-2 win over
William Tennant. Led by Senior #1 Singles Player Tyler Smith, the Titans
focused on getting their first serves in play and consistent cross court
play. Smith, returning at #1 singles for the 3rd season, relied on a powerful
ground game with reliable serving and returning to defeat fellow Senior Sean
Kileullen 6-3, 6-3. Leading the Doubles attack for South was the #2 team of
Sean Zhang and Nick Madson, overcoming Tennant's Tim Conboy and John Starr
6-0, 6-3. Also coming through with wins for the Titans were Justin Eichorn at
#3 Singles along with #3 and #4 Doubles duos of Nick Schneider and Jackson
Wetherbee and Nikhil Mehta and Vishal Kasina.

Last season, the Panthers defeated a younger Titan squad 4-3.
