After losing to CB West earlier in the season (1-3) the CB South Titans were able to return the favor beating West at home 3-1. It was a night of stats for South. Setters Gavin Roth and Sam Snyder had incredible nights with 24 and 22 assists respectively. They both also tallied 14 digs in the match and Gavin added 10 kills. A volleyball triple double for the junior setter. Ben Grove had 25 kills, 15 digs and 3 blocks seemingly back to his first team all league form from last season. Middles Brody Cocca and William Nothum both had fantastic outings again with 10 kills each and controlled the net play with their blocking. "They have been so consistent this season. They truly seem unstoppable at times." Libero Zeke Gift topped his performance from earlier in the week with 20 digs and a lot of great passing and defense. "This was truly the first match of the season where we played as one. They really put it together tonight. Sam and Gavin played some of their best volleyball of the season and everyone on the floor contributed to the win. Junior Jake Sciscio might have put us over the edge with 4 kills and 2 blocks that we sorely needed to win some very tight sets against a great opponent. We have a close connection with all the Central Bucks teams. Many of the boys play club volleyball together and many of us were their coaches. I will greatly miss the 3 senior players from West I've had the pleasure to occasionally work with, Liam Boyle, Dean Nguyen and Cooper Tysinski. These are really great young men and we wish them well." CB South will play at the Haverford invitational tournament on Saturday and play at Souderrton on Monday night.
